This extension collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no server to send anything to.
What the extension does
Gilmedia SERP Counter reads the Google search results page you are already looking at, in order to number each result by its true rank and highlight any domain or business name on a list you have entered yourself. It can also run that search as if you were sitting in a city you name, launch keywords you have saved, and copy a single result to your clipboard as a picture. All of that happens inside your browser, on the page as it is already displayed.
Data we collect
None. To be specific about the categories Google asks developers to declare:

What is stored, and where
Everything below is saved with the storage permission into Chrome's own sync
storage, so it follows your Chrome profile across your devices. Google syncs it as part of
your profile, exactly like a bookmark. None of it is ever sent to us, because there is
nowhere for it to be sent.
- Your list of domains and business names. The list you want highlighted.
- Your list of cities and your list of keywords. The places you search from and the searches you run often, both entered by you.
- Your display preferences. Which result types get numbered, the light or dark theme, badge colours, shapes and fonts, and how the summary panel is arranged.
- A username and password, only if you set one. If the shared list file on your own server sits behind HTTP Basic Auth, the credentials you enter are stored here so the fetch can send them. They are used for that one address and nothing else.
- A short-lived record of the current search. While you page through results for one search term, the extension keeps a note of what it found in your browser tab's session storage so the panel can show a running total. It is deleted when you close the tab.
Network activity
There is no backend service, no analytics, no telemetry, no error reporting and no update ping beyond Chrome's own extension update mechanism. Nothing is ever sent to us, because there is nowhere for it to go.
The extension makes exactly one kind of network request, and only if you set it up. Your
domain list, your city list and your keyword list can each be loaded from a plain text file
on a server, so a team can share one list instead of pasting it onto every machine. When you
put a URL in that field, the extension fetches that URL and nothing else. If the file is
password protected you can store a username and password, which are sent as an
Authorization header on that request and are never put in the URL.
No address is built into the extension. Nothing is ever uploaded. Leave those fields blank, which is how it ships, and the extension makes no network requests at all.
Copying a result as a picture
Hovering a highlighted result shows a small camera button, and the same thing sits on the right-click menu. It takes a picture of the visible Google tab, crops it down to that one result, adds a caption line carrying the search term, the position, the city and the date, and puts the image on your clipboard.
The picture is made inside your browser and goes to your clipboard. It is not uploaded, not saved to disk by the extension, and not sent anywhere. Nothing is captured unless you click the button or the menu item, and what gets captured is the Google results tab you are already on.

Never requested at install. Chrome allows a tab capture only under
activeTab or <all_urls>, and activeTab
has to be granted by a right-click first. If you would rather the camera button worked
on the first click instead, the popup offers a one-time "Enable one-click copy
captures" switch, which asks Chrome for this at that moment. Say no and everything
else keeps working exactly as it did.

Third parties
No data is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone, for any purpose. There are no third-party libraries, trackers, or advertising systems in the extension.
Children
The extension is a professional search tool and is not directed at children. Since it collects no data at all, it collects none from children either.
Changes to this policy
If the extension ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
