Who we are
This Privacy Policy is published by Gilmedia Inc. (“Gilmedia”, “we”, “us”) for www.gilmedia.com and for the Gilmedia-operated applications described below. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect through this website
When you browse www.gilmedia.com or submit a form (contact request, quote request, chat), we may collect the information you provide (name, email, phone number, company, and message content) along with standard analytics data (pages visited, browser type, approximate location) via tools such as Google Analytics. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Gilmedia Social Publisher (Facebook and Instagram integration)
Gilmedia operates a Meta for Developers app called “Gilmedia Social Publisher,” used internally by Gilmedia staff to publish and manage content on Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts that Gilmedia manages on behalf of its clients, and to report on the performance of that content and related advertising.

When a client or Page administrator connects a Facebook Page or linked Instagram account to Gilmedia Social Publisher, we access the following through the Meta Graph API, limited to what is needed to provide the service:

• Basic Page and Instagram business account information (name, ID, profile picture, category)
• Content we are authorized to publish on your behalf (posts, photos, videos, captions) and their performance metrics (reach, engagement, insights)
• Ad account, campaign, and lead information for accounts you grant us access to manage, for the purpose of creating, auditing, and reporting on advertising
• Product catalog data for accounts you grant us access to manage, for the purpose of maintaining shopping catalogs

We use this information solely to provide the publishing, advertising, and reporting services you or your organization has engaged Gilmedia to perform. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to delivering those services. Access tokens are stored securely and are only used server-side to make authorized requests to the Meta Graph API.

How long we keep information
We retain Page and account access only for as long as it is needed to provide our services, or until you revoke access, whichever comes first. Published content metadata and performance metrics are retained for reporting purposes for the duration of our engagement with the client, after which they are deleted on request.

Your choices
You can revoke Gilmedia Social Publisher’s access to your Facebook Page or Instagram account at any time from Facebook’s Business Integrations settings, or by contacting us directly (see “Data Deletion” below). Revoking access stops all further data collection immediately.

Sharing
We do not share the information described above with third parties except: (a) as required to operate the service itself (Meta’s own APIs), (b) service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, or (c) where required by law.
